On the ROAD, again.

Mini road trip to Oklahoma to take Valentinos niece and nephew back home. I am not looking forward to this because there is a slight chance per Val that once we get there his sister maybe at work and there will be no on to watch them.

I feel that they should have made better arrangments. I would have come to the Texas area and picked them up myself if I was their parent.

I am very tired right now but I am not wearing my contacts. I will put them on later. So drinking my protein shake and getting a little hungry... breakfast tacos, maybe?

So no gym today... I was looking forward in a bicep workout but if you ask Val he would say its a shoulder day.

Breakfast was the usual protein shake and some grapes. Since we are on the road I had a burger from McDonals... I can feel the heaviness from the burger settling in.. eww. The kids barly ate their food but they ate must of their fries. It was fun having them around. I would if Val's sister did live closer in Texas if I would get to hang out more and take them to the movies or have them spend the night.

It was about a 7hr drive to get to Mid City Oklahoma. This place looks like the life was sucked out of it unless its just because it was winter. BUT the guys at Hibdon Tires Plus were very nice. They did say there is not wait for the oil change but there were several people already sitting in the waiting room. It must have been about a 20min wait til they took his truck back in the service shop. Before leaving we eat at Old Chicago... for two people it cost $40bucks.....

The drive home was still long. I did watch Grown Ups and Labyrinth now my eyes are dry and my back is cold. I did get a call from a woman named Dr Toussaint. She called because she found my resume posted on Craig's List. She was inteted in me working for her at her podiatry clinic part time. The position was more for a front desk associate then a medical assistant. We agreed to meet this Thursday for an interview. It seems like a good thing... a private practice clinic, part time work, more pay, and the clinic is 10 minutes away from the house. The down side is that she has a very thick acent, not sure if she will offer insurance for that part time position, and there is no one else working with us.
